Rachel Voss Love, MPA/2002, is a young alumna who is ready to make her mark. Two years out of SPA’s Master’s of Public Administration program, she is working in a job she says challenges her everyday as a senior specialist in the Government Affairs department at the Mortgage Bankers Association. She’s also a volunteer tutor, and a homeowner, and eager to share her big dream – building recreation centers in low income neighborhoods nationwide.

Love came to SPA in 2000 after having only applied to AU because she wanted to be where the action was. “I remember reading a brochure that said, ‘For people who want to change the world, American is the place to be’, and I knew then and there SPA was for me. SPA was exceptional in helping to fine-tune my analytical, communication, and writing skills.
